We know that starting therapy can feel overwhelming — whether this is your first time or you're returning after a break. This page will walk you through what to expect, how to get started, and how to prepare for your first appointment.
What To Expect
At Rise and Renew, we take a person-centered, compassionate approach to care. Your first session is a chance for us to learn more about you, your goals, and how we can best support your healing and growth.

Sessions are typically around 50 minutes

Available in-person in Jackson, MI or virtually across Michigan

All conversations are private and confidential in accordance with HIPAA

You’ll never be rushed — our goal is to create a space where you feel safe, supported, and heard.
Rates and Insurance
We accept private pay and select insurance plans.
​
We are in-network with several providers including Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Blue Care Network, United Healthcare, Priority Health, McLaren Medicaid, and Blue Cross Complete Medicaid. You may also use out-of-network benefits or pay privately.
​
We’re happy to provide superbills for clients submitting to insurance independently.
Forms and Intake
All intake paperwork is completed securely online through our SimplePractice client portal before your first session.
After scheduling, you will receive a welcome email with login instructions to complete.
