  • I walk alongside men, women, couples, and blended families who are navigating life’s major transitions-whether that means moving to a new place, starting college, launching a career, navigating marriage, or welcoming children.   • While I support clients through a wide range of life challenges, my primary areas of focus include:

    • Trauma & EMDR Therapy: Utilizing specialized EMDR techniques to help you gently process deep-seated trauma, untangle old hurts, and find lasting relief in your mind and body.

    • Life Transitions for Individuals & Families: Navigating the uncertainty of major shifts, such as career moves, starting college, marriage, parenting, or building a blended family dynamic.

    • Anxiety & Depression: Helping you understand the root of what's keeping you stuck, managing physical and emotional symptoms, and rebuilding daily momentum.

    • Couples Counseling: Helping partners and families improve communication, set healthy boundaries, and navigate complex family dynamics as a cohesive team.

  • I received my Master’s degree in Social Work from Spring Arbor University. I am fully licensed in the state of Michigan (LMSW) through LARA Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs.

    My specialized trainings and certifications include:

    • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)

    • 8 years of dedicated experience working in child welfare and supporting individuals and families through life’s most complex challenges.

    My therapeutic approach is a bit less conventional, it combines deep empathy and validation with honest, direct feedback. I firmly believe that if you want to change, you must be willing to be challenged. After all, 'if it doesn’t challenge you, it won’t change you.' My role isn't just to nod along; it's to help you expand your perspective, break unhelpful patterns, and support you so you can actually reach your goals. I look forward to walking alongside you on this journey, challenging you with compassion every step of the way.
